Promoting Speaking Up For Patient Safety in Your Healthcare Organization

TeamSPEAK™ is a structured and scenario-contextualised patient safety programme co-developed by the SingHealth Duke-NUS Institute for Patient Safety & Quality (IPSQ) with Inter-Professional Faculty from Singapore Health Services (SingHealth).

The resource shared here is taken from the 90-minute interactive workshop conducted at ISQua 2023. The session covered the sharing of concepts, tools and experiences from IPSQ, role-play activities to provide the participants with the opportunity to apply the speaking up tools shared in the workshop. Objectives of the workshop:

3. Our Roles in Promoting Safe Choice

4. Identify the Rationale of building the Psychological Safety & Speak Up Culture in their health Care Setup

6. Understand the Principles to Spread and Sustain Speaking Up Program and Access Relevant Materials
